This arcade adventure game will lead you through dozens of chambers filled with both deadly traps and priceless treasures to collect. You must use your whip, gun and climbing rope to overcome uncountable dangers. The never-before-seen terrain generation and the range of movement the rope affords ensures that the expedition is never the same! Moreover, the game uses an innovative illumination system and the full Atari colour palette.

The tale presented here takes place in the Victorian era, when the British Empire was at the peak of its power. It is then that David Livingstone, a famous traveller and explorer, missionary and doctor, scholar and scientist, as well as an outspoken opponent of slavery, went missing during his journey through Africa. He set out in 1865, and after five years with no news of his whereabouts, was pronounced missing…
The game begins in the year 1870, just after Livingstone's disappearance was made public. You're one of the many who dare delve into the African wilderness, still uncharted by the Europeans, to rescue the doctor. Rumours of his movements have led you deep into the jungle, where you found a cave entrance. What will you find there – the missing doctor, or your own grim fate? It all depends on you!
